Taziker is shortlisted in the Composites UK Industry Awards for the category of Innovation in Composite Manufacture.
The Legacy Footbridge is an innovation which uses FRP materials to provide a more cost-effective, sustainable option for the rail industry. After being shortlisted in the CN Awards and CN Specialist Awards earlier this year, it’s great that the Legacy Footbridge is being recognised throughout the industry.
The winners of the Composite UK awards will be announced at the Awards Dinner on 2nd November 2022, taking place at the National Motorcycle Museum.
Matt Greenhalgh, Technical Services Director and Director of FRP Projects, Taziker said, “I’m really pleased to hear the great news that the Legacy Footbridge has been shortlisted for these awards! As a member of Composites UK, Taziker support the use of composite materials and hope that more people get to see the benefits of our Legacy Footbridge and how composite materials have played a major part in our manufacturing.”
Claire Whysall, Marketing and Communications Manager for Composites UK said, “We’re really pleased with the number of entries into this year’s Industry Awards. The high levels of interest really echoes the investment UK companies have in driving composites forward.”
The event will be hosted by Dr. Alan Banks of Ford Motor Company.
