Taziker is proud to announce that our Director of Technical Services and Special Projects, Matthew Greenhalgh, has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA) Bridgeworks Committee.

The BCSA is the national organisation that has been representing the structural steel sector for over a century. It is a representative body and central management services organisation for its members from the steel construction industry.

The principal objectives of the BCSA include:

  • Promoting the use of structural steelwork in the UK and Ireland
  • Representing its members interests to Government and the wider construction sector
  • Supporting its members by providing professional services and advice

After being on the committee since 2015, Matthew has now been appointed as Vice Chairman. On behalf of the BCSA, he also sits on the National Highways Sector Scheme 19A, and also the National Highways Sector Scheme 20.

Matthew said, “After sitting on the committee for the past seven years, it is an honour to have been voted in as the new Vice Chairman of the BCSA Bridgeworks Committee.  I am incredibly passionate about engineering and structures as well as research and development, so I am looking forward to bringing more of my knowledge and experience to the Committee.  Taziker has been a member of BCSA for seven years and we are proud to continue to be aligned with this trade body.”
