Taziker Wins UK Tekla Award 2024

Taziker has won a UK Tekla Award 2024 in the Small Projects category for retracking work on the Colossus Rollercoaster at Thorpe Park.

The awards highlight industry leading construction projects modelled using Tekla software and marks Taziker’s third win in the UK awards, following success in the Small Projects and Public Vote categories in 2021.

During the project, Taziker carried out the retracking of two sections and the fabrication and installation of a support column on the famous rollercoaster. The use of Tekla software, including advanced layout tools, was crucial to both an accurate design and a smooth fabrication process.

The awards jury commented on the project saying: “The complexity and tolerances within this project were solved using technology effectively throughout the process. Great work!"
