Taziker Prepare to Officially Launch the Legacy Footbridge at Railtex 2021
Published 31st August 2021
Taziker, a leading multi-disciplinary engineering specialist, will be officially launching their FRP footbridge solution at this year’s Railtex 2021. From 7–9 September 2021, Railtex/Infrarail will be taking place at the NEC in Birmingham, and Taziker will be exhibiting for the first time on stand R77 in hall 11.
With a strong background working in the rail industry, Taziker has designed a footbridge solution for the rail network that reduces costs and provides access for all. Additionally, due to the design of the footbridge, installation time is kept to a minimum meaning less disruption to passengers.
Visitors to the Taziker stand can gain knowledge about the unique features of the footbridge and the benefits to both the client and users.
Matt Greenhalgh, Director of Technical Services and Special Projects, Taziker said “Taziker’s solution for an FRP footbridge gives the industry a cost effective, quick to install, sustainable option to make the railway infrastructure a safer environment.
“After reading about the number of accidents occurring on rail pedestrian crossings and the main blocker to prevent these occurrences was the cost of footbridge replacements, I was inspired to develop a cost effective FRP footbridge solution that could replace pedestrian crossings and improve safety. The result of our research and development is the Legacy Footbridge.”
With the environmental impact of the world’s collective actions at the forefront of people’s minds, by using FRP Taziker are providing a solution with is environmentally beneficial. Due to the lightweight nature, durability, minimal site set up and concrete free foundations, the Legacy Footbridge has a lower carbon footprint.
Members of the highly experienced Taziker team, with technical engineering expertise, will be available to talk to visitors on all three days of the exhibition and will be providing in depth presentations on the stand to interested parties.
