Taziker Celebrate a New Partnership with Caring in Bristol

Taziker, a leading multi-discipline engineering contractor, has joined Caring in Bristol’s new partnership programme, Caring Corporates, to support people experiencing homelessness in Bristol.

The partnership is a result of Taziker’s social responsibility initiatives while working on the roof refurbishment programme at Bristol Temple Meads station.  This will continue for the duration of the project which is due to complete in 2023.

Launched in 1987, Caring in Bristol has expanded over the years to provide emergency care to those facing homelessness, as well support to prevent homelessness.  Taziker will be part of a team of businesses that are working together to help Caring in Bristol create a city that is empowered to solve homelessness.

Tom Nicotra, Business Development Director – South, Taziker said, “It’s great to hear about all the amazing work Caring in Bristol are doing in respect of homeless prevention and support.  Taziker and the local Bristol Temple Meads team are looking forward to working with the other organisations in the Caring Corporates programme to devise ideas to fundraise for this important cause.”

Taziker previously worked with Caring in Bristol by donating to Tap for Bristol.  This is an initiative from Bristol City Centre Business Improvement District in partnership with Caring in Bristol to give people the ability to donate using contactless payment on their card or phone.  A TAP point was installed at Bristol Temple Meads station and Taziker tapped to donate £450.

Luke Mitchell, Corporate and Community Partnerships Coordinator, Caring in Bristol, “We are really looking forward to working with Taziker and a massive thank you on behalf of everyone here at CiB.  Taziker have joined our brand-new partnership programme, which means they will be part of a team of likeminded and passionate businesses working together to help Caring in Bristol create a city empowered to solve homelessness”.

Taziker was awarded the major refurbishment project at Bristol Temple Meads in June 2020 by Network Rail after a successful tender submission.
