Taziker Achieves PAS 2080 Certification for Carbon Management in Infrastructure
15 December 2025 — Taziker is pleased to announce that it has been awarded PAS 2080 certification for Carbon Management in Infrastructure by BSI.
This marks the company’s first achievement of the internationally recognised standard, with the certification valid from 11 December 2025 to 10 December 2028. The certification applies across the entire organisation.
PAS 2080 sets out a framework for managing whole-life carbon in the built environment. It recognises organisations that embed carbon reduction strategies into their governance, decision-making processes, and project delivery. Achieving this certification demonstrates Taziker’s continued commitment to sustainable practices and reducing carbon emissions across the full infrastructure lifecycle.
Integrating Carbon Management from Concept to Completion
At Taziker, carbon reduction is not treated as a standalone initiative—it is integrated into all phases of project planning and execution. The company delivers Green by Design Carbon Workshops across all major projects, challenging early-stage design and construction choices to identify and prioritise opportunities for carbon savings before work begins.
This proactive approach is reinforced by Taziker’s Project Carbon Management Plan framework, which ensures carbon is forecast, monitored, analysed and reduced at every stage of delivery. Performance reviews and lessons learned are shared across the business to continuously improve outcomes.
Leadership in Action
Rob Usher, HSQE Director at Taziker, commented on the significance of the certification:
“Achieving PAS 2080 reflects both a strategic leadership commitment and the practical efforts of our teams across the business. Carbon management is firmly embedded in our systems and day-to-day operations. This milestone also supports closer collaboration with our clients and supply chain partners, helping to deliver more sustainable infrastructure projects.”
Supporting Net Zero Goals
This certification aligns directly with Taziker’s long-term environmental objectives, including its ambition to achieve Net Zero by 2045. PAS 2080 provides a robust and consistent framework to support measurable carbon reduction, positioning Taziker as a responsible, future-focused contractor within the infrastructure sector.
Taziker remains dedicated to delivering high-quality infrastructure while actively supporting the transition to a low-carbon future.
