Senior Estimator

 

We’re looking for Senior Estimators to join our team in Scotland, delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.

Based at our East Kilbride office, your responsibilities will be:

•             Preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering tenders.

•             Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

•             Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate prices.

•             Identify and assess project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.

•             Collaborate with operational teams to ensure estimates are practical and deliverable.

•             Participate in client meetings and presentations as required.

What we’re looking for:

•             Proven experience as an Estimator in civil engineering, ideally in rail, highways or port infrastructure.

•             Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and construction methodologies.

•             Excellent analytical and commercial skills.

•             Proficient in estimating software (e.g. Candy, Causeway, or similar) and Microsoft Office

•             Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

•             Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering . Quantity Surveying or a related discipline preferred.
