PWay

Replacing the existing components of the track and installing new to increase the life expectancy of the railway is essential in maintaining the efficient functionality of the UK railway infrastructure.  We provide PWay services, especially those associated with longitudinal wheel timbers, to minimise the downtime or inefficient running of train services (both passenger and freight) across the UK’s railway network.

Longitudinal Wheel Timbers and Track Systems
Taziker has significant experience of successfully replacing life expired longitudinal timbers across many regions of the UK’s rail network.  The complexity of these works requires us to work in close collaboration with our client Network Rail.  Due to the multiple successful projects completed, we have established a relationship with Network Rail as one of their trusted partners for these specialist works - underpinned by the strength and skills of our engineering works teams.

We have established a system of quick, efficient processes with a focus on safety, design and accuracy.  This enables our delivery teams to provide fast, efficient yet reactive solutions affording the client a fast turnaround of the project to ensure that any disruption to services are minimised whilst ensuring all works are undertaken in an efficient and compliant manner in full collaboration with the client.  We are also highly experienced in ballast replacement and renewal as well as the installation and replacement of rail sleepers - with works undertaken during either line closures or track possessions.

Other recent trackside and P-Way works have included the installation of anti-trespass panels, CESS walkways and road-rail access points.

Safety on Site

In all aspects we recognise the importance of ensuring that safety is always of paramount importance in the delivery of any project.  We adopt a clear policy to always approach any works with our SAFE-T and Target Zero approach which includes ensuring we have a clear understanding of all risks to all users.  Therefore, as part of our work we have implemented safety upgrades to all sites including upgrading the full design and installation of safety notices and site signage, upgrading fence lines and increasing the specification and standards of the site accommodation services.
