As carbon management and the mitigation of the impact of global warming becomes of ever greater importance, our environmental engineering teams have evolved to apply a solution-based approach to managing the impact of older and or pre-constructed buildings.

Many older structures within the UK’s built environment have little or no carbon management services in place.  With the implementation of modern systems and services both energy demand and the efficiency of a building can be improved.

Our completed projects have included the installation and improvement of insulation materials; improved systems or services to reduce energy demand; improved temperature control; and the installation of modern efficient lighting and heating systems.  These capabilities are demonstrated through our work at Ipswich Training Centre.  We also have experience in the installation of solar panels to provide a sustainable energy supply.
