1969
Company founded by Tom Taziker
70's/80's
Company diversified into industrial preparation and coatings
1984
A keystone moment for the company securing our first major bridge painting scheme as a principal contractor for the refurbishment of Tyne Bridge, Newcastle.
1994
Our continued expansion in the industrial arena sees the company branded as 'Taziker Industrial'. We establish new headquarters in St George's Road, Bolton. Our core services expertise in surface preparation and paint, win us contracts on landmark structures and bridges across the UK.
2000
Diversity, Vision, Success and Expansion - we outgrow our premises, purchase land and build a new purpose-built Head Office and storage facility in Horwich, Bolton.
2006
Oykel Viaduct, Invershin, Scotland, our first Metallic Preparation Paint and Steel strengthening project as Principal Contractor for Network Rail.
A pivotal moment in time, and the greatest shift in the company's direction since inception when we are awarded a 'Network Rail Contractors Assurance Case' a prestigious licence to work as Principal Contractor on the Railway Infrastructure.
2007
We expand into Engineering Services and are awarded the refurbishment of Weston Mill Viaduct in Devonport shipyard, Plymouth.
We acquire Bolton North West Scaffolding which later becomes 'Network Scaffolding' - our in-house access company.
2009
Taziker Industrial Engineering Services is established following the organic growth of our internal engineering capability. Establishing Taziker Industrial Group as a 'one-stop-shop' for structural strengthening and refurbishment projects.
2011
In 2011 we are awarded both Network Rail's largest competitively tendered structural refurbishments of the year, namely Royal Albert Bridge in Plymouth, and Tay Rail Bridge, Dundee. These were the largest projects we had ever won to date.
2013
Taziker is awarded the Network Rail Star Award and later in the year the Platinum Badger Award for continued excellence in Safety and Environmental Risk Management.
2016
Taziker's founder, Tom Taziker, retires from the business and Freshstream acquires the company to ensure further continued investment to expand the groups growth into new markets.
Royal Albert Bridge Project announced as 'Winners of the Outstanding Project' at the UK Rail Industry Awards.
After acquiring Project Scaffolding in 2011, this is merged with Network Scaffolding creating one of the UK's largest scaffolding companies.
2018
We establish Taziker Industrial Services to capitalise on major industrial maintenance and access contracts in the petrochem, energy from waste and biomass industries.
We establish a 45,000sqft fabrication facility in Heywood allowing us to move into large scale engineering. We now have the capacity to fabricate multiple projects simultaneously and expand into new revenue streams.
2020
A fresh rebrand of the company to 'Taziker' signifies our evolution from paintings contractor to multi-disciplinary engineering specialist.
2021
Taziker launched Environmental Engineering and Energy divisions
